The short version

Wing & Window earns a commission when you buy something through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model. There is no subscription, no paywall and no advertising on this site.

Wing & Window is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Amazon is currently the only retailer we have an affiliate relationship with. If that changes — if we join another program — this page will be updated before any link is published, and any non-earning link on the site is one we simply thought was useful.

How our links work

Product links on this site route through our own /go/ address before reaching the retailer. That lets us keep destinations in one configuration file rather than scattered across pages, and lets us count how many people click a recommendation. It does not change what you pay and it does not collect anything about you personally — see our privacy policy.

Every earning link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", opens in a new tab, and appears alongside an #ad label. Every page that carries a buy link states the disclosure above the fold rather than hiding it in the footer.

What commission does not do

• It does not decide what we recommend. Our top overall pick is a twenty-five-dollar plastic dish, which is close to the smallest commission on the site.
• It does not order the lists. Picks are ranked on the published criteria on our methodology page, weighted toward cleaning access.
• It does not buy placement. No brand can pay to appear here or to move up a ranking. There is no rate card because there is nothing for sale.
• It does not soften criticism. Every roundup names something we would skip and every review names the buyer who should walk away — including for products we earn on.

What we do not accept

Free products. Nothing is sent to us, which is part of why we can say plainly that we have not tested these feeders.

Sponsored posts or paid placements. None, ever. If that changes it will be labeled unmistakably, on the page, not here.

Payment for links. We do not sell links and we do not accept payment to add one.

About prices

Prices on this site come from a live data layer and expire after 48 hours. Where there is no in-date price, the page says “check price” rather than showing a number we remembered or estimated. Prices at the retailer change constantly and the price you see at checkout is the one that counts.
